  We made 9pm reservations for my nephews birthday dinner. We were seated at 10:30pm. A manager spoke to us once about the wait, " We are waiting for a table to finish, it will be about 10 minutes....but I'm from the Caribbean so it will probably be more like twenty (hahaha)" ..very unprofessional and offensive. Once we were seated, no manager came over to apologize for the lengthy wait. We ordered drinks and had to send the majority back because the Shirley Temples were missing the Sprite and the Muddled Lemonade was missing the vodka. The Mojito Pitcher was very watered down. When the food finally came, the steaks were overcooked and everyone received their food except my 10 year old daughter. She had to wait another 10 minutes before her food came. I understand big groups can be challenging to seat, that was the reason a reservation was made. There is no excuse for substandard food and drinks. Our waiter, David, was very apologetic and did everything he could to make up for the mistakes of the restaurant. I commend him for his professional service and making the experience tolerable.
  This was my last time a Havana Central.

  I celebrated my husband's birthday (16 people ) on Saturday . Since it was more than 11 people I had to do catering instead of regular reservation . Catering was 45 per person but they have limited options of food for guests. Food was good. Waiter service was the worst. The main course came more than 2 hrs after we sat. He was not attentive to guests' requests such as salad dressings, glasses, hot sauce.. we waited 20 min for the glasses for the sangria which he brought earlier.. he was not patient when taking the order for the main plate.. I feel like if you do catering you should be assigned one or two waiters so that your experience is good .. since he knew that the tip will be included he didn't care about the service .. he was still taking orders from other tables while we were waiting.. tip was 20%= $179.. already included in bill .. we won't go back to that restaurant..
